As a game designer, my narrative perspective is deeply rooted in my early experiences as a player, where I was captivated by the intricate details in game worlds, such as NPC dialogues and hidden narrative clues in item descriptions. These elements fascinated me and inspired my journey into game development, driving me to create immersive experiences that reward curiosity and attention to detail, much like the games that initially sparked my passion.
Narrative System Design
In my first professional project, I led the design and development of a narrative system from the ground up. This included crafting the main storyline of the game world, writing character dialogues, constructing a coherent and immersive game world structure, and designing and implementing a dialogue system along with its editor for the first time. This experience honed my skills and deepened my passion for creating intricate and engaging game narratives.
Tasks, Dialogues and Cutscenes
In my latest project, I took a step forward by successfully participating in task and cinematic dialogue design and implementation. I gained valuable skills in using and redesigning the task and cinematic editor within our game engine, further enhancing my ability to create engaging and dynamic narrative experiences.
