In preparation for the game’s forthcoming release in the Southeast Asian market, a comprehensive overhaul was deemed essential. This included a complete reimagining of the game’s art assets to resonate with contemporary tastes, underlining the pivotal role of narrative in anchoring the game’s essence amidst these transformations.
Immersing myself in the depths of world-building, I embarked on a journey to craft a rich tapestry of lore and legend—a narrative framework that would infuse meaning and purpose into every pixel of the game’s vibrant universe. I delved into the intricacies of seven distinct forces shaping the game world, each emanating from diverse zones teeming with unique cultures and politics. From the bustling neon-lit streets of futuristic metropolises to the desolate wastelands haunted by echoes of bygone wars, I meticulously delineated the nuances of each locale, ensuring that every character and environment pulsated with authenticity and depth.
Character Design
I assumed the mantle of character conception, breathing life into a diverse cast of heroes and villains. Collaborating closely with combat designers, I provided insights and guidance to ensure that each character’s abilities and technologies seamlessly integrated with their visual design, down to the smallest details adorning their attire.
